The dark energy observed the members of the Delson Family for a moment before finally flying towards Jon Delson. At this point, Jon Delson couldn't help but feel a surge of emotions. Indeed, reflecting on that situation now stirred up a tumult of feelings, as it had been a matter of life and death.
"Cough! Cough!" Jon Delson suddenly began to cough violently, as if he were on the verge of losing consciousness. Seeing this, Ronnie quickly called for a doctor.
"I'll handle it!" Jiang Chen said, then infused his Spiritual Energy into the old man's body. A green light burst forth from Jiang Chen's hands, and a strange energy rippled outward from his fingertips. Master Ronnie stared in astonishment at Jiang Chen, once again shocked by what he witnessed.
Jiang Chen seemed to be even more unfathomable than he had imagined. What kind of technique was this? Even though Master Ronnie was well-versed in Huaxia Martial Arts, he had never seen anything like it before.
While Master Ronnie was still in disbelief, the violent coughing of Delson subsided. Even his pale face regained some color, and his overall spirit improved significantly. "Thank you!" The old man's gaze towards Jiang Chen suddenly changed; it became brighter and more appreciative.
"Please continue," Jiang Chen smiled.
The old man collected himself and resumed his story. At the moment when the dark energy flew towards him, Jon Delson thought he was doomed. His mind went blank as he was engulfed by the dark energy.
However, to everyone's surprise, after being surrounded by the dark energy, Jon Delson did not perish like those guards. Instead, the dark energy coiled around him like a dragon. In front of everyone’s horrified eyes, the dark energy actually entered his body.
After absorbing the dark energy, Jon Delson became extremely irritable and his face contorted with rage. Dark energy surged around him, forming what looked like a dragon's head—strange and eerie. Then, the Immortal Dragon Seal flew out from its shrine and landed in the old man's hands.
At that time, the Immortal Dragon Seal was no longer golden but pitch black. The golden dragon on it had transformed into a black dragon—ominous indeed.
When Jon Delson obtained the Immortal Dragon Seal, he wore a sinister smile before fainting immediately. It took several days for him to regain consciousness.
The Delson Family had summoned the most powerful mages and diviners from Europe to interpret what had happened. Ultimately, they concluded that the dark energy stemmed from the resentment of the Undying Dragon Clan. The Undying Dragon Clan was suppressed somewhere on Earth, and now their sealing power was gradually weakening; thus their resentment could be unleashed through the Immortal Dragon Seal.
Jon Delson had already been invaded by the resentment of the Undying Dragon Clan and had become their puppet. The diviners predicted that the legendary Undying Dragon Clan, which was said to be sealed beneath the sea, would be released by Jon Delson—leading to humanity's disaster.
This revelation terrified members of the Delson Family. When Jon Delson finally awoke, he noticed that his family treated him strangely and feared him as if he were a monster. After inhaling the dark energy, he felt no different than before; only a black dragon pattern had formed on his back like a tattoo. Initially alarmed, Jon Delson eventually dismissed his fears as time passed without any unusual changes in his body. However, his family had already regarded him as an outcast, leading him to become an isolated figure within the Delson Family.
