On the way to the Heavenly Realm, while passing through the mortal world, Kua Fu cautiously came to a halt.
He seemed afraid of stepping on something precious, taking each step with utmost care as he hopped forward, treading lightly on the mounds of earth.
Curiously, I looked at the tiny creatures below, no larger than ants, and couldn't help but ask, "Are these... humans?"
Kua Fu stared intently at the ground and replied simply and decisively, "Yes!"

Seeing this, Kua Fu quickly set me down gently on a nearby peak and without hesitation rushed into the flames. After a moment of effort, the blaze was finally extinguished.
"Next time you feel like throwing up, call me," Kua Fu said softly as he returned to my side.
I wanted to reply, but as soon as I opened my mouth, a surge of flames erupted from within me.
Seeing the fire intensifying, Kua Fu didn't hesitate to leap directly into the flames. Just as the scorching heat was about to reach his face, I felt a jolt of panic and quickly turned away to avoid it.
But at that moment, he firmly grasped my chin with both hands, forcing my face to turn back towards him, and swiftly covered my mouth with one hand.
I stared at his face in shock; it was the closest we had ever been. So close that I could see his slightly curled eyelashes clearly. I locked eyes with him, and gradually, he began to falter under my gaze, his eyes darting away in a flustered manner.
His breath brushed against my face, filled with a man's unique restlessness and an undeniable hint of desire.
I could distinctly feel his breathing becoming more rapid, his body growing hotter.
My own breath quickened involuntarily, and that indescribable longing severely clouded my mind. The air I had been trying so hard to hold back slipped out of control, surging violently within me, rushing towards my mouth.
"Mm... mm..." Just as I was about to spew fire again, Kua Fu suddenly sealed my lips with his.
I instinctively struggled, but he held me even tighter. As I opened my eyes and caught a glimpse of his face, I noticed how intensely focused he looked. Seeing him like this made my struggling hands fall limply to my sides.
Since you’re so devoted, I might as well cooperate! After what felt like an eternity, Kua Fu slowly pulled away from the kiss, lowering his head slightly to gaze deeply into my eyes.
For the first time, he no longer avoided my gaze; instead, he stared at me with wide eyes filled with affection.
"I'll ask the Jade Emperor for you another day!"
I looked at him in surprise, disbelief filling my eyes, but I quickly lowered my head, feeling shy.
Did I hear that wrong? He was clearly proposing! He actually wants to marry me! He has fallen in love with me!
"Anyway, I've seen your body... and since I've kissed you, I have to take responsibility. Besides, if I don't marry you, you probably won't be able to get married at all..."
