On a stormy night, the police received a report of a Bizarre Murder Case that had occurred within the Ancient Manor. The victim was a guest at the estate, and the scene was gruesome, filled with an eerie atmosphere as if some mysterious force had been at play. The police rushed to the scene but found the clues to be chaotic and difficult to decipher, prompting them to invite Detective Lin Yu for assistance in the investigation.
Upon arriving at the manor, Lin Yu began questioning the residents one by one. He noticed that the owner of the estate, Chen Hao, displayed a chilling indifference towards the case, seemingly unconcerned about the victim's fate. The butler, Old Zhang, was evasive in his responses, raising Lin Yu's suspicions. Meanwhile, Maid Lily appeared terrified; she revealed that on the night of the incident, she had seen a shadow flitting through the corridors of the manor and had heard strange noises.
Lin Yu conducted a thorough search of the manor and discovered peculiar symbols and a torn diary that seemed to record secrets related to the estate. As his investigation deepened, he uncovered that this Murder Case was linked to a tragic event from many years prior, which had resulted in multiple deaths. The victim was one of those connected to that past tragedy. Lin Yu speculated that this murder might be an act of revenge.
Just then, another incident occurred within the manor: Old Zhang suddenly went missing, leaving behind bloodstains and signs of a struggle. This development added further complexity to the already perplexing case.
Undeterred by these challenges, Lin Yu meticulously re-evaluated and analyzed various clues until he finally unveiled the truth behind the case. It turned out that Chen Hao was a survivor of that earlier tragedy; he had orchestrated this Murder Case as an act of revenge. Old Zhang had discovered Chen Hao's secret and attempted to stop him but was killed by Chen Hao and hidden away. The shadow that Maid Lily had seen was actually Chen Hao during his act of crime. Faced with irrefutable evidence, Chen Hao had no choice but to confess to his wrongdoing.
