Book Synopsis
The protagonist awoke to find themselves in an unfamiliar room, their memories hazy, with only their name lingering in their mind. A mirror hung on the wall, but the reflection staring back was not their own.
Desperate to escape, the protagonist searched for a way out, only to discover that the space was sealed tight. The only clues were a diary and a photograph. The diary chronicled the life of a stranger, while the person in the photograph matched the reflection in the mirror.
As the protagonist delved deeper into the diary and examined the items in the room, they began to piece together the identity of the "Mirror Person," uncovering that this was a scientist who had been missing for many years. At the same time, doubts crept in about the authenticity of their own memories.
Eventually, the protagonist found a way to escape, but upon stepping outside, they were met with a world that felt utterly alien. They encountered a group of individuals claiming to be their friends, yet their descriptions of "him" did not align with anything the protagonist remembered.
It became clear that they were part of an experiment conducted by the scientist; their memories had been implanted, and the true self had long since vanished. The reflection in the mirror was an attempt by the scientist to create a "Perfect Persona."
Faced with a harrowing choice, the protagonist grappled with whether to accept these false memories and identity or to destroy everything in pursuit of reclaiming their true self.
