Book Synopsis

The story is set in modern-day Japan, and the female protagonist is named Hijou Feiye. She is a freshman in college and comes from a family of shrine priests who have served the sun goddess for generations. However, Feiye is not interested in this and is more inclined to pursue her passion for medicine and traditional Chinese medicine. One day, while visiting the Takachiho Shrine where her grandmother serves the sun goddess, Feiye falls in a cave and loses consciousness, only to wake up and find herself transported to Japan during the Taisho Era. Feiye experiences a terrifying night at the Takachiho Shrine, encountering a man-eating demon with blood-red eyes, but luckily finds refuge within the shrine's barrier. Later, she meets the protagonist of "Demon Slayer," Kamado Tanjiro, and his sister Nezuko. Tanjiro then takes Feiye to the Demon Slayer Corps...
